After camp our class started to make slideshows about our camp. Here is the slideshow that I made.

Athletics 2018

I did athletics with the Seniors and half of the class. I didn't want to be in the Seniors because they have to do the high jump and the low jump. When it was my turn to do the low jump I was a little scared at first, but I manage to get over the bar!!! I was really amazed, but the second time I had to do the one with Mr. Jull. With that one it didn't get moved up higher like the other one did. I kept making it over the bar but others touched the bar. When the bell rang we switched to the long jump and here are the other things that we did: the quoit throwing, sprints, the 300 meter running.  I came fourth in quoits and 300 meter! I was really proud of myself at the end.  Now I really want to do it again!!!

What We Are Doing In Term 4

This term we are doing athletics.We will be doing the vortex throwing,quoit throwing,long jump,hurdles,sprints and the sack race. I'm so excited! But,the most amazing part is... The Sleepover At The Aquarium In Napier! I am so excited!!!

Term 3 Reflection

Today my class is on Word Art. The words we wrote were to be about the term 3 reflection (which was the things we were to write about.)

Art Exhibition

On Friday the 14th and Saturday 15th, it was Carlton School's art exhibition. This is the piece I entered in the exhibition.

Goal For Term 3 and Term 4

My goal for this term is to be able to write my spelling words into sentenses nice and quickly.
At home I am going to practice putting my spelling words into sentenses  every day when I go home.

Simple Sentences

Over the last 2 weeks we have been learning to write simple sentences.  Here are 3:
I went to the shop.
We love ice cream.
The computer lid was closed.

A Trip To The Gym

Going to the gym is fun.  My favourite part is the olympic tramp because it makes you go really high in the air.  The foam pit there is broken, so we can't go in it.  We do a warm-up before we go on the equipment.  I love going to the gym.

6 Sentence Story

Once upon a time there lived a little fairy called Blossom.  She lived in a little village where the rare fairy’s lived. Blossom was very good at taking care of her people.  One day all of the people in her village went to her saying “our things have disappeared!” Blossom said “ search in the cupboards and look everywhere”, so the villages looked everywhere and soon found their things and lived happily ever after.

A Moment in Time

I went to the 123 mart to buy some art supplies.  I saw lots of things in the shop.  I heard the plastic bag rustling against me.  I smelled the hot glue burning as it heated up. I thought that it had really hurt when Taylor got burnt on her hand.

Tree Art

We have been learning about how to make a colour lighter and darker. We mixed the colour with white paint to make it lighter and mixed black paint with it to make the colour darker.  It was all a success really.  They are now on the wall.  They all look stunning.  Some look like there's a sunset behind the tree.  

Leaf Colour

This week we did a science experiment. We looked at how leaves change colour.

Tasting Our Butter

At school we have made some butter. We just had to shake a glass bottle of cream with this watery thing. The next day, in the afternoon Mrs Duncan put the butter in the fridge. We got to eat it on mini pikelets the next day
