Water art project

Hi its me again. This looks like a big rain drop with words inside of it. Its more that that. I've had a small project on the water cycle and this is what I had to create. Read the words carefully. See if they have mean anything to you. I'll leave you to it. Hope you like how it all relates to water. See you in my next blog post!!!!!!!!!

Water cycle in a bag

At school today we learned about the water cycle.

Part 1 didn't work out, but part 2 was a success!
  • evaporation-when the water rises as a gas called water vapour
  • condensation-when the gas turns back into water in the cloud
  • precipitation-when the water gets too heavy in the cloud and falls to earth
  • collection-when the water gets collected in river and stuff

Our success was a little something we like to call,' the water cycle in a bag '.For this we got a see-through bag and drew the cloud, a squiggly line for the sea, and a semi circle for the sun. Then we added enough water in the bag to fill a quarter. Next, popped in about one-two drops of blue food colouring. The final step was to stick to the window the got the most sunlight. We left it there to hang till the next day.

The results: It was a success! It turned out that the food colouring was too heavy to rise with the fresh water, so thats why when it rains, its never dirty or salty!

Experiment Complete!!!!

Swimming this term

Swimming this term has been awesome. Today we went  swimming and we focused on floating on our back. We made a whirl pool as a class and then floated with the current. Then we had to run the opposite way. man, that was super tiring, am I right! Well you weren't there but that was not that important. That's it for today's post. I can't wait to make the next post. Thanks for reading what I have been up to. Thank you!!!!!!!
