The Class Flooded!!!

Yesterday it rained very heavily. Unfortunately, the rain started to creep into Room 8 then spread into Rooms 7, 6 and 5. Room 5 was the luckiest of us all. Their room will probably dry quicker than the rest of us because if room sevens floor was flooded all the way, and our room was flooded a bit more than a quarter of the floor, then that must mean that their room was flooded a quarter of a that quarter. I just estimated that mathematics in my head by my self.

Anyway, when I came to school, there was a single table in the way, which I didn't notice until I was inside the classroom, but there was also a sign on the door saying, 'Entrance Closed. Please use back door'. So there I was, walking around to the back door, as I spied a sign on Room Seven front door that said,'Please go to green room'. I slowly walked all the way around to the back of the classroom to put my shoes and bag away with out an interruption. I came into the classroom and saw cones guarding quarter of the classroom. "The classroom has been flooded!!" I said in shock. "We are going to be stuck in this tiny classroom for awhile." I whispered to myself, dissapouintedly.

School Water Fight

Hello! Last week (the 25th of November) the teachers of Carlton school set up a school water fight. Since we had an astro turf at the back of the school, they decided to set it up as it doesn't get slippery by the water that got splatted on it. It was an extraordinary experience getting sprayed in the face by somebody else and their water gun. That was a lie. Anyway, there were other activities, such as a water slide for both senior and junior people, there were tiny paddling pools and a miniature water fight on the field for the junior classrooms. They also had a sprinkler to play in, and a water fun play set. The seniors however, had a enormous water fight that the juniors couldn't join. I had to bring a Just Juice bottle to school because all our water guns are broken with cracks in them. I had more fun than I thought I would of have. I kept giving cold showers to a boy at our school who's name was Dallas Shepherd. He shouted out "Aah! My hair gel! That took me hours!"
"You sort of wasted your time, Dallas." I told him because it was the truth. I think that YOU would of enjoyed it. Do you think you would of????????

Athletics day

"Wow! These shotput are so heavy!" I whispered to myself, amazed. The shotput was the very first task for our nine year old group to master. Sadly, I didn't get a place but I was happy for my friend, Cazna who came 1st place! Our next task was high jump. The bar got super high. I ended up last one standing, I just didn't quite make it over the bar. When bell rang to go to our next activity, I was put into 5th place. It gave me an amazing feeling because I had never had been put into a place before! Anyway, our next skill tester was the Vortex. My leg started to hurt after the high jump. Probably because I stretched it a little too far. When it was my turn to throw the vortex, it wasn't that far, but I guess it was considered a good throw. There were about 30 children being split up into what I think was five groups of four. After we'd all had two turns, we had to wait to go to the next possible activity. Now, long jump. Since we were in a certain order, I was near the back. That only meant that I had to wait a little bit. When the wait was over, and it was my turn, I ran almost as fast as I could, stepped on the white line, and jumped into the pit of sand. Everyone was able to have two turns. Like the shotput, I didn't get put in a place. All that matters is making sure that we look after and take care of our friends that help and care for us. Once again, the hand bell rang so as we were told we had to go to which seemed to be the 100 metre sprints! The teacher lined us up."3,2,1,GO!!" We speed off, I was coming first, until my friend, Elizabeth pasted me. That was alright but what really annoyed me was the fact that a couple of people passed me as well.!
